Moss Destruction is a top down twin stick shooter.It's got great graphics and the game play is fast and very challenging. Oh, and did I mention it's a rougelike? Yep, that right, that means when you die it's over! The cool part of this game is it seems so easy that you will keep coming back for more because you know you will do it this time! This is a very fun Top-Down shooter!You get to choose between different classes with different bonuses and different negatives, you can get different Weapon drops and use them againt different Ailiens. The controlls are easy to use and the whole game is very intuitive and fun.I play this game when im bored of BDO and its a heck topn of fun. I wish for a co-op or a multiplayer in gereral :DAll in all its a great game!. Great but needs easier controls and more checkpoints. In 3 levels I just die and then can't spawn there and get stuck in level 3.. If your bored and like to shoot stuff up try this! Its pretty fun.. Seems to have all the ingredients of a good Twin Stick shooter.The weapons seem fun and the powerups have good variety. I enjoy the map and the fog-of-war aspect of the game. Very cool.This looks to have frequent updates and as it stands shows a lot of promise!I hope the enemy patterns are sped up along with the overall game, but that is not so much a negative as a personal preference.The first time you pick up any given powerup in a run, it is assigned a random color and you don't know what it will be until you use it. I feel like it would be much better if they just showed a (?) icon, so that I don't keep mentally associating colors with powers. Either way I'm sure this is a minor thing they'll work out.Can't wait to see where this goes.Try my Steam Controller configuration, it works lovely :). If you like Top-View Twin-Stick shooters, you should definetely give Moss Destruction a try. I'm all about SHMUPs, and enjoy the occasional Bullet Hell from time to time, so I was expecting a little more action from this game when I first started; but it'll come soon enough. Believe me.You start out with a basic semi-automatic gun, easy enemies, and basic maps, but as you level up and explore the stages, you'll find that this game has many weapons, power ups, characters, enemies, and just A TON of content as you advance. By level 3, I was actually losing. The challenge will come, just take into considetion the difficulty won't be as high at first, but as you can see in the trailers, it won't take that long before you see MAYHEM in the screen. The graphics and music are not something to really blow you away, if an indie game after all, but there are some cool effects like the screen breaking when you take damage, and I'd like to say that how your robot transforms into metal saws when you perform a melee attack looks pretty cool. Also, your weapon actually change, unlike other games where the hero looks the same even though you're changing guns and power ups. Overall is a very enjoyable title if you're a fan of the genre. Go for it.. Lots of fun elements, clean shooting mechanics, engaging randomized perk items, punishing difficulty curb. I'm really looking forward to seeing this game develop.
